This album really roots itself in modern prog metal, especially in the way the guitar work is treated. It's not fully a djent album but has some very djenty songs throughout, mixed with post-rock elements. It also happens to have some of the most gorgeous ambient moments I've ever heard in my life, evidenced by beautiful tracks like "Solstice". Another stellar knockout by Widek!

What a creative and unique EP from David! I love the intricacy and level of detail in the soundscape so much. There's always something for my ear to catch each time I visit this release. This is one of his more underrated releases, in my opinion. Great job, David! :D

I came for Glacial Tranquility, I stayed for the whole album. I've listened to enough instrumental prog for a lifetime, but Identity sounds new and emotional all over again. It speaks to me. A 4 track banger absolutely worth your time.
